Abandoned Mailbox Books

I was picking up my daughter at an apartment building a couple weeks ago, and saw this in the security entrance. There were two rows of apartment mailboxes mounted on the wall, and somebody had dropped off a bunch of books, lining them up across the tops of the mailboxes:



All were of the religious or self-help variety. While I didn't have any particular need for such books, I hope they found their way into the hands of someone who could use them, rather than tossed in the dumpster by a landlord interested in tidiness.
